Rainier Adaptive Sports Named a 2024 Aspen Institute Project Play Champion

The Project Play Champions program recognizes organizations making a meaningful impact in youth sports through innovative partnerships, quality coaching, exposure to new sports, and increased opportunities for underrepresented youth.

We’re proud to be recognized alongside so many outstanding organizations working to make sports more accessible and inclusive for young people. At Rainier Adaptive Sports, we believe every athlete deserves the opportunity to play, grow, build confidence, and experience the benefits of being part of a team.

Through adaptive sports, we work to create opportunities for athletes with disabilities to discover new activities, develop their skills, and connect with others in a supportive environment. This recognition highlights the importance of that work and the difference we can make when we come together to expand access to sports.
